Design Concept：
Take an ordinary and delicious fruit in life, and be curious about the nutrients other than edible. Taste it with your eyes while admiring the rhythmic ups and downs of the plump body. The peel is mild in color and has a lively texture. Explore the interior, analyze in detail, outline the inner space and marvel at the rotation of the core layers of valves, the randomness and ingenuity of the central structure. During this in-depth exploration process, the heart is stirred in the new world, and the cognition of the fruit is re-established.
This work attempts to get rid of the immediate impression of previous contact of the fruit. Based on the imitation of appearance, the authenticity of the fruit is established, showing the intimacy of texture, color and touch.
As the eyes turn to the back of the work, it changes to another style. Half-covered shape leads the viewer’s seek to peek inward. The shaping of the interior space focuses on the transition of the state of mind, so that the wrapped new fruit core is full of tension, and in the casual and strong structure, there are subtle texture changes. Through the eyes of exploration, the viewer is guided to feel the surprise of the fruit and the environment of the inner space, and brings out the smell in the color layout, so that the work have different viewing levels and experiences.
